The Campaign
Manny's Vegas
Manny's Instagram is a love letter to Vegas — narrated by the guy running to lead it. Every post celebrates a Vegas thing: a person, a corner, a meal, a memory, a problem, a fix. The candidate becomes synonymous with the city. Voters don't feel pitched. They feel seen.

Inspiration
Spencer Pratt's authenticity formula
Catchphrase
Vegas, let's go.
The brand has TWO modes — this is intentional.
🎩 Formal mode (mk.presvault.com · OG card · official press · donor materials): gold, italic Cormorant, glassy luxury, exclusive.
📱 Conversational mode (Instagram · day-to-day): casual, raw, Pratt-energy — with subtle K brand touches.
The contrast IS the brand. "The guy who throws a black-tie mansion fundraiser AND debates the best carne asada in East Vegas." That's electable Vegas charisma.
Strategy & Voice
Why Pratt works · and how Manny steals it
Strip away the crystals and you find 5 repeatable mechanics. The Pratt magic isn't his persona — it's his refusal to perform a sanitized version of himself. That's what we give Manny.
| Mechanic | What Pratt does | What we steal for Manny |
|---|---|---|
| High-frequency authenticity | 5–10 posts/day, raw phone footage, zero polish | Manny posts 3–5×/day, vertical, native |
| One unforgettable obsession | Crystals, hummingbirds | Manny's = Vegas itself (every neighborhood, every diner, every small biz) |
| Self-aware confidence | He KNOWS he's ridiculous; that's the wink | Manny's wink: "I'm a politician posting like a normal human, weird right?" |
| Talk like a friend | Voice-memo cadence, no PR script | Em-dashes, casual em-PHA-sis, "okay so check this out" |
| Show up where life happens | Kitchen, garden, parking lot | Diners, parks, schools, gyms, parking lots, gym, kitchen |
How Manny SOUNDS
- Speaks like a friend — "Here's what nobody wants to say about ___" beats "Today I announced my support for ___"
- Em-dashes and short sentences — "Real talk. This is broken. Here's the fix."
- Casual em-PHA-sis — "This. Is. The Vegas I'm fighting for."
- Asks real questions — "Drop your favorite hole-in-the-wall in the comments. I'm hitting every one of them between now and election day."
- Self-deprecating about being a politician — "I know, I know — a politician on Instagram. Stay with me."
- Tags people generously — every small biz owner, every community leader, every supporter
Verbal tics to repeat
- "Okay so check this out —"
- "Real talk —"
- "Here's what's wild —"
- "Look —"
Vegas, let's go.

Content System
Six pillars
Every post fits one of these six buckets. No post is "off-brand" if it fits a pillar. No post is "on-brand" if it doesn't.
Manny's Plate
Daily
Eats at a different Vegas local spot every day. Tags the owner. Tells a 30-sec story. Coalition building disguised as food content.
District Tour
4× / week
Vertical clips from every neighborhood in District E. "I'm at ___, here's what I learned." Local presence, on the ground.
Real Talk Tue / Thu
2× / week
60-sec mic-to-camera monologue on ONE local issue. No jargon. Hot take + position. Built for clipping.
Behind the Suit
3× / week
Gym, getting dressed, family, the dog, late-night campaign trail moments. Humanizes the candidate.
Coalition Drops
2× / week
Different small biz owner / community leader / teacher / first responder featured each week. Cross-promo + endorsement engine.
The Fundraiser Arc
Through May 27
Building up to (and recapping) the May 27 mansion event. BTS prep, who's coming, gratitude. Drives RSVPs to mk.presvault.com.
Cadence
Volume is Pratt's secret weapon
Algorithms reward consistency. Audiences feel presence. Comments stay alive when you actually show up daily.
Daily floor
- 3–5 Stories
- 1 Feed post (photo or carousel)
- 1 Reel every other day
Weekly
- 1 longer-form carousel (3–5 slides) on a policy or community story
- Reply to first 20 comments on every post within 1 hour
- Repost any tagged story from supporters
Critical rule: Posts get drafted same-day they get posted. The voice dies if it's pre-batched 2 weeks out. Rolling 48-hour drafts max.
Engagement multipliers (Pratt's secret weapons)
| Tactic | How |
|---|---|
| Story polls | "Carne asada or al pastor?" "More potholes or more parks?" — algorithm gold |
| Story questions | "Ask me anything about District E" — once a week. Answers become future content |
| Story countdowns | FUNDRAISER countdown sticker for May 27 — pinned to all Stories starting May 20 |
| Story link stickers | Drive RSVPs to mk.presvault.com |
| Resharing tagged content | Every supporter who tags @mannykess4nv gets reposted. Encourages tagging. |
| Reels with trending audio | At least 1×/week. Use a trending sound layered under his own voice. |
Guardrails
What we don't post
The Pratt voice only works if it's never weaponized. These are the hard lines.
| ❌ Don't post | Why |
|---|---|
| Mocking other candidates / opponents | Pratt mocks celebrities; we don't mock political opponents — too easy to clip out of context |
| National political takes | Manny's a LOCAL candidate. National hot takes fracture coalitions. Stay LOCAL. |
| Bars, clubs, alcohol consumption | Vegas-specific risk for any candidate. Even at our own fundraiser — show the room, not the bar. |
| The fundraiser street address — EVER | Even in BTS clips, blur or angle around any street sign. The gating is the strategy. |
| Anything mean about a real person, even jest | Pratt's mockery is mostly self-directed. Ours should be too. |
| Static "campaign poster" graphics with no voice | Those die on IG. Push them to X/Twitter if anywhere. |
| Endorsement promises or donation asks in EVERY post | Algorithm punishes ask-heavy accounts. 1 ask per 10 posts max. |
| Content that requires explanation | If a friend wouldn't get it in 3 seconds, kill it. |
Profile Setup
The bio, the Highlights, the link
Profile photo
Keep the polished candidate headshot (Manny in suit). The K mark belongs as a brand identifier — but the profile photo is the human face for trust.
Bio rewrite
Current bios from political candidates tend to read like a résumé. Manny's bio should sound like a person.
Link in bio
Point it directly to mk.presvault.com (drives RSVPs + lives at the canonical campaign URL). After May 27, swap to the campaign donate page or a Linktree if multiple links become necessary.
Highlights covers (gold K series)
Five Highlights covers, each a gold-K-on-black tile with a Cousine label underneath. Consistent grid look.
| Highlight | Cover label | Contents |
|---|---|---|
| The Evening | EVENING | BTS + recap of May 27 mansion fundraiser |
| District E Tour | DISTRICT | Neighborhood walks, every stop |
| Manny's Plate | PLATE | Every local spot featured |
| Real Talk | REAL TALK | All Tuesday/Thursday monologues archived |
| Coalition | COALITION | All Coalition Drop features |
Three pinned posts
- Reveal Reel — "I'm taking back my Instagram" (see the next section)
- Why I'm running — 90-sec carousel or Reel articulating the District E vision in 3 sentences
- The Fundraiser Recap — once posted on May 28, this gets pinned in place of an earlier slot
Visual Identity
A grid that looks like Manny
No two Pratt posts look the same — but you ALWAYS know it's him. Same energy for Manny: variety inside a recognizable system.
Color palette
| Token | Use | Hex |
|---|---|---|
| Vegas Gold | Accents, K mark, highlights covers, sticker borders | #F0C85F |
| Champagne | Bright highlights, text glows | #FDE58C |
| Vegas Night | Backgrounds when needed | #060507 |
| Ivory | Text on dark backgrounds | #F5EAD3 |
Type stack
- Cormorant Garamond Italic — quote pulls, dramatic moments, the K mark itself
- Inter — bio text, captions when on-image
- Cousine mono — eyebrow labels (e.g. "REAL TALK", "EPISODE 03"), countdown stickers
The K mark — usage rules
- Bottom-right corner watermark on any "branded" Reel (small, ~60px, low opacity)
- Outro frame: black with the K mark center, holding 0.8 seconds
- Highlight covers: K mark dominant, Cousine label below
- Story stickers: K mark used as branded "chapter break"
- Never on a Manny's Plate post — those should feel raw / candid / unbranded
Grid layout rhythm
Every 3rd post = "branded" (Reel cover with K outro, Real Talk monologue, Coalition Drop graphic). Every other post = candid/native (Manny's Plate, District Tour, Behind the Suit). This creates a visible rhythm in the grid:
Pattern: candid · candid · BRANDED · candid · candid · BRANDED · candid · candid · BRANDED ...
Story templates
| Template | Use case | Elements |
|---|---|---|
| Quote pull | Real Talk excerpts, voter sentiment | Italic Cormorant, gold underline, K watermark |
| Poll frame | Daily "this or that" engagement | Dark gradient + native IG poll sticker + Cousine label |
| Countdown card | Days to fundraiser / election | Cousine numeral, gold gradient, K outline |
| Repost frame | Tagged supporter stories | Translucent overlay with "TAGGED · @username" label |
Episode 01 · The Pinned Post
The Reveal Reel · "I'm taking my IG back"
First post under the new voice. Sets every expectation for what's coming. Gets pinned. Becomes the calling card every new follower sees first.
Concept
Manny walks the Las Vegas Strip at golden hour, talking to camera, sunglasses on. Cinematic but handheld. Last 5 seconds: tight shot, glasses come off, looks at the lens, says the catchphrase. Cut to black with the gold K mark.
Specs
- Format: Reel · vertical 9:16 · 60 seconds
- Camera: phone, handheld (NOT stabilized — slight motion is the point)
- Audio: his own voice + ambient Strip sound. No trending audio for this one — voice carries it.
- Wardrobe: open-collar shirt, no jacket. Sunglasses. NOT a suit.
- Time of day: Golden hour (45 min before sunset on the Strip)
Storyboard
Wide shot. Manny walking past Bellagio fountains, sunglasses on, looking ahead. He turns and notices the camera.
0:00–0:06Medium shot. "Big news. I'm taking my Instagram back from the consultants."
0:06–0:14B-roll of him entering a small diner / shaking hands / eating tacos at a counter. (Show, not tell.)
0:14–0:28Back to walking. "Starting today this is me. Eating where I actually eat. Walking the district I actually want to lead. Saying what I actually think."
0:28–0:42"District E deserves a Commissioner who shows up. Not a press release. Buckle up."
0:42–0:52Tight shot. Sunglasses come off. Looks at camera. "Vegas, let's go."
0:52–0:57Cut to black. Gold K mark center-screen, fades up + holds.
0:57–1:00Caption (post)
Posting notes
- Post day: Saturday 5/17 evening (between 6–9pm PST when Vegas IG engagement peaks)
- Pin immediately after posting
- First comment from Manny himself: "Drop your favorite Vegas hole-in-the-wall below. I'm hitting every one of them between now and election day." (Pratt move — fuel the comment thread from minute one)
- Cross-post: TikTok same day, X/Twitter as native upload (NOT a link)
Production · Day 1
The Reveal Reel · Shoot Kit
Everything Manny needs to capture the inaugural pinned post in one golden-hour session. Shoot in 45 minutes. Edit on the phone. Post by 7pm PST same day.
The window
| Date | Saturday 5/17 (or earliest available golden hour) |
| Golden hour | Vegas sunset ≈ 7:35pm. Shoot 6:50pm–7:30pm |
| Backup window | Sunrise (5:30–6:10am) — same warm light, no crowds |
| Post by | 7pm PST that evening (peak Vegas IG engagement) |
Location · pick ONE
- District E rooftop or street corner facing the Strip (best) — positions Manny as a District E resident looking AT Vegas, not a tourist IN Vegas. Sunset hits the Strip glass behind him.
- Empty parking lot near a closed/quiet casino at golden hour — unique, no tourists, Strip skyline framed behind
- Sunset Park or Desert Breeze Park (District E adjacent) — open sky, less tourist energy
Avoid: Bellagio fountains, Welcome to Las Vegas sign, Fremont Street. Those positions Manny as a tourist. The whole point is "I LIVE here, I'm not visiting."
Wardrobe
- Open-collar shirt — white, light blue, or cream. NOT a suit. NOT a tie.
- Sunglasses. Aviators or Wayfarers — classic, not flashy. (They come off in the final shot — that's the emotional beat.)
- Watch visible on wrist (small detail but adds texture in close-ups)
- Hair: how he normally looks. Not over-styled.
Gear
- Phone — iPhone 14+ shooting in 4K at 30fps (NOT 60fps — 30 looks cinematic). Default video, not Cinematic Mode (CM softens edges weirdly).
- Audio — Lavalier mic clipped inside the collar. (Rode SmartLav+ runs ~$50. Worth every penny vs. phone mic.) Fallback: phone mic only, but record voiceover separately later.
- Stabilizer — Phone gimbal (DJI Osmo Mobile is the standard) if available. If not, hand-held is acceptable — Pratt's content is intentionally a little shaky.
- Camera operator — One person who can walk backwards smoothly. Sammy or a team member.
The 7 shots
Wide · 6 sec · 0:00–0:06
The "noticing" shot. Camera operator walks backwards. Manny is walking toward camera, sunglasses on, looking away (like he's lost in thought). At ~3 sec he notices the camera and slightly smirks at it. Backdrop: Vegas skyline behind him.
Direction: don't pose. Walk like you're going somewhere.
Medium · 8 sec · 0:06–0:14
Camera operator stops. Manny walks into the medium frame. Stops. Direct to camera: "Big news. I'm taking my Instagram back from the consultants."
Tone: conversational. Slight smirk. Not formal.
B-roll montage · 14 sec · 0:14–0:28
Cut away to a SECOND shooting location (a diner). 3–4 quick B-roll cuts (~3 sec each):
- Manny entering a small diner (door swing, ambient sound)
- Manny at the counter, shaking hands with the owner (no faces unless permission)
- Manny eating tacos at a counter — close-up of the food and his hand
- Manny walking out, sunlight catching his face
Suggested second-location: Tacos El Gordo on Bonanza, or Roberto's Taco Shop. Pick the one Manny actually visits.
Medium walking · 14 sec · 0:28–0:42
Back to the Strip-facing location. Manny walking toward camera again, talking: "Starting today this is me. Eating where I actually eat. Walking the district I actually want to lead. Saying what I actually think."
Use the em-PHA-sis. "Eating where I actually eat" — hit "actually."
Medium · 10 sec · 0:42–0:52
Manny stops walking. Slight angle change. Direct to camera: "District E deserves a Commissioner who shows up. Not a press release. Buckle up."
"Buckle up" — punch it. Slight head nod.
Close-up · 5 sec · 0:52–0:57
Tight shot of Manny's face. He takes the sunglasses off slowly. Eye contact with the lens. "Vegas, let's go."
The whole reel lives or dies on this 5 seconds. Practice it 10 times. Pick the take where his eyes catch the light.
K outro · 3 sec · 0:57–1:00
Cut to black. The k-outro.png asset fades up center-screen, holds for 2.5 sec. Audio: clean drop, no music.
This is the asset I already rendered — pull it from the Asset Library section below.
Editing checklist (CapCut on Manny's phone, 15 min)
- Import all 6 video clips + the
k-outro.png - Arrange in sequence. Trim each cut tight (no dead frames between)
- Audio: keep ambient sound under voice clips. Lower B-roll audio under Manny's words.
- NO music for this one — voice and Strip ambient sound only.
- Add
k-watermark.pngin bottom-right corner of every Manny-on-camera shot (low opacity ~70%) - Export 1080×1920, H.264, ~30 Mbps
Posting checklist
- Post as Reel (not feed video — Reels get 5× the algorithm reach)
- Caption: copy from the Reveal Reel section above
- Cover image: pick the frame from Shot 06 where he's mid-glasses-removal
- Pin the post immediately from the 3-dot menu
- Cross-post to TikTok (just upload the same MP4, copy/paste caption with TikTok-specific tags:
#LasVegas #Nevada #ClarkCounty #MannysVegas) - Manny posts the first comment himself: "Drop your favorite Vegas hole-in-the-wall below. I'm hitting every one of them between now and election day."
- Reply to first 20 comments within 1 hour

Feed post (same day, evening)
Lunch post · concept
Suggested spot: a Filipino, Vietnamese, or Korean spot in District E — broadens the coalition story. Pratt-tone caption tagging the owner. Same 3-slide carousel format as Day 2.
Real Talk Thursday · concept
Topic: water/drought policy for Clark County (or whichever issue is #2 on the team's list). Same kitchen-table setup. Same 60-sec format.
Real Talk caption
Concept
"4 days out" tease. Single feed post: Manny holding a printed invitation (the actual flyer) — but with the address blurred / out of frame. Caption builds intrigue without leaking the venue. Cross-promotes the gated RSVP flow.
Caption
Concept
Feature a known small business owner, teacher, faith leader, or first responder in District E. Manny + that person. Tag generously. Two slides: posed handshake + candid mid-laugh. Real conversation, no scripted endorsement.
Caption
Concept
"2 days out." Walk-through of the mansion (INTERIOR ONLY — never the street, never the address). Pool. Dining hall. Foyer. Show what guests are walking into. Build anticipation.

- 2pm: Suit hanging up
- 4pm: At the venue, finalizing
- 5pm: Tying tie / final look
- 5:45pm: Standing in the empty room
- 6:30pm: First arrivals (NO faces yet unless permission)
- 7:30pm: The room is full — wide shot with no individual faces, just the energy
- 9pm: A quiet moment looking over the room
- 10pm: Closing the night — "Tomorrow, recap."
Feed post (post-event, 11pm)
Photo permissions: never post a guest's face in a feed post or named story without explicit verbal permission. Wide shots of the room without identifying faces are always safe.
Concept
The morning-after recap. Slide 1: wide of the full room. Slide 2: candid of Manny mid-speech. Slide 3: a detail shot (gold tablesetting, K-mark menu, etc.). Slide 4: a group shot with the highest-permission supporters. Slide 5: a quote-on-black with a line from Manny's speech.
Caption
Concept
Friday lunch at a District E spot (rotate cuisine — try Ethiopian, Salvadoran, or BBQ for variety). Evening: Real Talk on issue #3 (suggestion: public safety / community policing).
Real Talk caption
Concept
Coalition Drop #2 — feature someone who showed up at the fundraiser. Use the introduction itself as the content: "Met @name on Wednesday. Here's what we talked about." Authentic continuation.
Caption
Story (evening): the week ahead
- Frame 1: Quote pull from one Real Talk this week
- Frame 2: "Coming this week" — tease 3 new posts (1 Real Talk topic, 1 new neighborhood, 1 new Coalition Drop)
- Frame 3: Poll — "Which neighborhood do you want me at next?" (3 options)
After May 30: the system runs itself. Same 6 pillars, same cadence, same voice. Add new Coalition Drops weekly, new Manny's Plate stops daily, new Real Talks twice a week. Keep momentum to the next campaign milestone (debate, primary, ballot deadline).
Asset Library · Ready-to-Post
12 strong POSTS, finished & ready to upload
Not templates. Not placeholders. Real copy, real punch, real Manny voice — finished posts the team can publish today. Each one is a thumb-stopper that can stand alone in the feed without any additional editing.
How these run: upload as-is to the feed (or Stories for the Story-sized ones). Pair each with the matching caption from the 14-Day Calendar. For the Coalition Drop, drag two photos onto the placeholder zones in IG's editor or CapCut before posting.
Statement & manifesto posts · feed
Three portrait-format posts (1080×1350) designed to dominate the feed. Use sparingly — one every 5–7 days. These are the moments you want voters to screenshot.

Real Talk · 3 episode covers
Drop one in the feed the day each Real Talk Reel goes live. Quote-card design that PUNCHES — the hot take is visible without playing the video.

Stat cards · the hot-takes that go viral
Two stat-driven posts engineered for shares + saves. Punchy comparisons + Manny's take below. These travel WAY beyond your follower count.

The Fundraiser · hero post
The official IG version of the invitation. Drives RSVPs to mk.presvault.com. Pin this from May 19 through the day of the event.

Coalition Drop · finished layout (drop in photos)
Replace the two photo placeholders with actual photos of Manny + the featured partner — done in IG's editor or CapCut. Layout, divider, label, and K mark are all baked in.

Stories · engagement drivers
Two Story-sized posts engineered to harvest DMs and comments — IG's algorithm rewards both, and Manny's voice depends on the inbox heat.

Calendar mapping · which post runs which day
| Post | Day | Pair with caption from |

| Real Talk · Housing | Day 4 (May 20) | Real Talk Tuesday — drop in feed alongside the Reel |
| Real Talk · Water | Day 6 (May 22) | Real Talk Thursday |
| Real Talk · Public Safety | Day 13 (May 29) | Real Talk · Episode 03 |
| Rent stat | Anytime · best mid-week | Compose a sharp caption — high share/save potential |
| 22% turnout | Closer to election or as a civic prompt | Vote-mobilization caption |
| May 27 fundraiser hero | Day 7 (May 23) | "4 days out" caption — pin until 5/27 |
| Coalition Drop | Day 8 (May 24) | Coalition Drop · 01 — drop in the actual photos |
| "Vegas, let's go." | Anytime — repost monthly | Catchphrase pin / re-pin / shirt mockup |
| Ask Me Anything | Weekly (Sundays work) | Story-only — drop the IG question sticker on top |
| "I read every comment." | When engagement dips | Resurrects the algorithm — works once every 2–3 weeks |
Regenerating variants: All 12 are URL-parameterized. Need a different Real Talk topic? Open ./_render/asset-template.html?type=realtalk&ep=04 and edit the topic in the template. Or ask me to spin up new ones in the same voice.
Production utilities (regenerate on demand)
Highlights covers, K outro frame for Reels, K watermark, countdown Stories — all utility-grade assets that can be regenerated whenever Manny needs them. Tell me and I'll batch them out.
Posting Workflow
How we operate the account
The pipe
- Draft — Captions + visual concepts drafted in this playbook (or new ones generated in the voice). Same-day, never pre-batched 2 weeks out.
- Approval — Sammy / Manny / the team thumbs-up via text or chat.
- Asset capture — Manny shoots the actual phone footage / photo. Sammy receives via AirDrop or shared folder.
- Post — Driven via Chrome MCP attached to the isolated Manny profile (port 9223).
- Engage — First 20 comments replied to within 1 hour. Repost any tagged Stories.
Isolated Chrome profile
| Profile directory | C:\Users\sammy\.claude\chrome-profiles\manny-kess\ |
| Remote debug port | 9223 |
| Launcher script | mk-ig-campaign\launch-manny-chrome.bat (double-click to open) |
| Credentials | ~/.claude/secrets/instagram-mannykess4nv.txt |
| Co-mingling risk | Zero — completely isolated from any other Chrome session |
Reactive content (Vegas moments, viral takes)
When something happens in Vegas worth Manny weighing in on (a local news story, a Strip incident, a community win) — react within 90 minutes or skip it. The Pratt voice REQUIRES reactive speed. Manny doesn't need committee approval to react to a pothole that went viral on local TikTok. He needs the playbook so he can respond like himself.

Critical reminders
- Voice authenticity: these are DRAFTS. Manny tweaks before posting. The Pratt magic only works if it actually sounds like him.
- Address protection: the mansion street address never appears on IG. The gating on mk.presvault.com is part of the strategy — defend it.
- Cross-post discipline: Reels go to TikTok same day. X/Twitter gets native video, not links.
- The hashtag:
#MannysVegas— one word, ownable, consistent across every post.
